Local Bulls
Local Bulls
Over the past few years we have had several bulls come and winter right in the middle of town. Due to the mild winter this year only two have come down. Last year we had as many as 20 down in the local fields. Enjoy!

Re: Local Bulls
Nice bulls, I especially think the bull in the last two pics would look quite fetching on my wall.

Re: Local Bulls
Stopped by to check on these bulls last night and both bulls have shed their antlers. I was a litle surprised, I've only seen one other bull shed his antlers before heading back up the mountain.

Wow, already? Guess I had better keep a closer eye on the few I've found.dahlmer wrote:Stopped by to check on these bulls last night and both bulls have shed their antlers. I was a litle surprised, I've only seen one other bull shed his antlers before heading back up the mountain.

Re: Local Bulls
Nice pics, good looking bulls. Who gobbled up the sheds? Seems pretty early for Elk like that. But I think it was a bit early for some deer also? But probably not, just all in my head.
Re: Local Bulls
The bulls are on private property so I'm not sure how much access would be available for someone to pick them up. I glassed the area, but didn't see any bone on the ground. I know there have been problems in years past with guys trespassing trying to get the sheds.
