Wall Tent
Wall Tent
Still looking:
Want (need? kind of) a new canvas wall tent, I looked at the company in Denver, that’s not the company that I dealt with before. Does any one have any recommendations? Based on use and pack ability?
Thanks

Re: Wall Tent
We bought the King's Package from Davis Tent and Awning last year and really like it. I'm not sure any wall tent would be described as "packable". Check them out, it's a nice tent. They also have a February Special going on. There's a lot of good general info on tents in the FAQ.

Re: Wall Tent
i had a really good expeirience with davis tent i got a 16 x 20 with the external frame and stove for 1200.00 including shipping about ten years ago and it is still doing a great job.
Re: Wall Tent
Ours was a bit more than that but we bought a 14 X 16 sunforger/preshrunk/fire retardant canvas with a rain fly, two big heavy duty (and just plain heavy) cots, a nice big stove, a screen window in the back, a 3/4 heavy duty waterproof floor and the internal frame angles, stakes, ropes, etc for around $1800 +/-. We bought galvanized electrical conduit (IMC or EMT, I forget) to make the poles. It's a really nice tent and it's set up to use traditional poles also if you want.
