2009 Wifes first deer

Post by firefighterbraun » Sat Apr 24, 2010 2:49 pm

This is the deer my wife shot in 2009. It was her first deer and is a 17" 2x3 that she was thrilled to get! On his two point side they are spades which was kinda cool. Hope the pictures upload right! lol I'll get some more pics up soon hopefully!

Looks like a nice butter-ball of a buck. Bet he made for some great deer chops. I only hope that I can find my daughter one just like him this fall. Congrats to you and your wife. -----SS

Hoping that this year she'll be able to get a bigger one. She drew a Central rifle tag again and I got an archery tag. So we should be able to get some nice ones! And he has been really good eating! BBQ backstraps....mmmm. :))

Congrat to your wife on her first buck!

Though, I have to say, she looks much better with the orange vest on than without. Such a difference in her looks! :))
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.
