Dutton Late Cow Tag

Post by MuleyMadness » Sun Nov 07, 2010 10:20 am

Anyone familiar with this hunt?

http://wildlife.utah.gov/HAM/public/det ... ary_id=125

I have a Dutton Late Cow tag 12/4/10 - 1/31/10

I know the access is limited and success low, but want some Elk meat in the Freezer. Anyone hunted this before? Any pointers/help would be appreciated.

Brett

I was wondering if any of you would help out a fellow hunter on the same predicament.
My wife has a late dutton cow tag starting 12/4/10, and i was wondering if any body would know A good place to take her out too. hopefully a good experience for her.

This time of year the majority of cows usually hang out in Cottonwood to the south and Table Mountain to the north. If there is little snow, they will stay high.

Any luck?
This is the cow tag I usually have, stay high on the ridge tops.
PM me if you haven't got one yet and I will give you a couple of spots we usually see cows.

Hey I have a late cow tag too. I was down there the week after opening and I didn't see anything. I am headed out again this week, if any one knows where about I should look help and advice would be great. I haven't ever hunted Dutton before and would really appreciate some pointers! Thanx Guys
