Re: ATTENTION: NEW OR STRUGGLING HUNTERS
while you're at it where are the elk! ive been up parleys and cottonwood both several times now....seen a few deer and moose, no elk...today was the first day i even saw any elk sign, saw one pile of crap after miles of walking, couldnt see which way the tracks went....needle in a hay stack.

This is a great thread. I hope to hunt Utah or CO next year and I am starting to do my research now. Hope to gather some info and then share some when I am done next year.

Re: ATTENTION: NEW OR STRUGGLING HUNTERS
Sounds like an awesome thread. Pretty cool that you guys are willing to do this. You guys are a class act in my book.
I hope to some day share some info as well.
Looking at hunting Utah or Colorado next year but don't know where to start. Been hunting hard in Southern California but have only connected twice in 11 years of hunting. Last one I harvested was back in 06'.

Re: ATTENTION: NEW OR STRUGGLING HUNTERS
I think this is great. We have hunted SE Utah (La Sal) the last few years, but we are thinking about switching areas. Last year was bad. Between 8 hunters we saw 10 bucks and none of them to write home about. We are thinking about switching to CO and trying to draw MD, but will buy over the counter Elk tags at the minimum. Any suggestions on where to go. We like unpopulated areas off the main drag.
Re: ATTENTION: NEW OR STRUGGLING HUNTERS
I can help with 61 and 70 in CO for deer and elk.
