I think that is a great buck that deserves to be talked about and Shawn should be proud that he was able tofind a buck like him guide or not.We are all not non-residents somewhere and none of us own our hunting spot.I've huntedin CO,ID,NV,ORand CA all with my wife and or kids Ican't afford a guide for all of us but will continue to hunt in other peoples hunting spots and make them my own and my kids'! I'm sorry if that bothers somebody else but I pay my taxes and buy my tags at non-resident fees and hunt PUBLIC land and do-it-myself and have been successful at it and in spite of the ignorance of people who think they own the place and treat others with disreguard and disrespect that is hard to explain to young hunters I will continue to do so.If I ever screw up your hunting spot (not likely) let me know I wil probably apoligize for shooting and letting my kids shoot bigger bucks than you!

Who cares if hes guided, you still have to have the ability to make the shot when it counts, and credit the guide for finding a buck like that. Tropic is a great place to visit in late October and early November, seen some great bucks down there.

hey i saw a pic of one of the deer that i seen up woodruff in our spot he was a seven by seven he was pretty nice but he was the smallest of the three that i saw running together. o yeah thats a nice buck that you shot.
