Nice web-site! Always appreciate good pics and info about muleys. The one thing that might enhance the site is a few articles about hunting. Not just stories of hunts but some information that people could use to fine tune their hunting knowledge and skills. Im sure we would visit more often if there were articles to read. Great pics and stories! Thanks, MM

Came across your ad in the Washington-Oregon Game and Fish magazine as I was looking for a magazine for my Hi-Standard model H-D military pistol. My Dad bought the gun when I was about 13 back in Marquette ,Michigan,I'll be 63 in Dec.,so you can imagine how disappointed I was when I got back to deer camp last week in eastern Wa.to discover the clip missing, and here I find it on your web sight ! I am happy now! I doubt if Dad paid much more for the gun back in 1951 than what I am looking at now for the magazine, but thats ok by me.The serial number is 273159.
Enjoyed the storys and photos of the deer and elk, excellent web sight.

In the story, "Marv's Bull Elk", do you know what he means by, "road hunt"? I assume he means to drive down the road to spot elk, not to shoot them. Poor choice of words I think - don't get me wrong, I just think we are our own worst enemy sometimes by the things we say. Any anti-hunter could have a field day with that comment.

First time I ever visited your site. Tried to get information on Hondo NM as I and two other hunters will be hunting on the Fourwinds Ranch, Nov. 7th-11th 2001. Wanted to know what to expect of the deer herd there, the weather and other game to hunt. It's always nice to here from someone othe than the outfitter where you will be hunting. This will be my first trip to NM to hunt. I am an avid whitetail hunter here in Va but don't know exactly how to hunt the NM Muley. Guess I'll glass and stalk most of the time. If there is anyone out there that can give me some comments via e-mail I sure would like to here from them. Your website is awsome. Safe hunting. FAT HATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys and Gals at MuleyMadness.com,
Your site is wonderful and very informative. I have been trying to find information specifically for a Wyoming hunt. I know this may not be your territory of expertise. But as a suggestion for your site, maybe take a look at having some locale Icons (by state or county and state). This would help people searching for hunting in specific areas.
Thanks again for what you have so far and good luck this fall.

Hello. I founded Colorado's first high-country chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation(MDF). The Buckhorn Chapter is based out of Eagle, CO. MDF is a national, non-profit, wildlife organization dedicated to the conservation of mule deer. The mule deer is the only big game species in the United States who's numbers are decreasing. The organization seeks improved mule deer management, protection and enhancement of deer habitat and a guaranteed future of healthy, stable herds. MDF has helped generate thousands of dollars for funding of projects in several Western states.
IT TIME TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE WESTERN STATE'S MOST ENDANGERED ANIMAL -- TROPHY MULE DEER. JOIN MDF TODAY AND START YOUR CHAPTER!!
If you have any Questions please contact me. One more thing, please add a link on the home page of MuleyMadness.com to the Mule Deer Foundation website.

I enjoyed your site and plan to check in often.
I am an avid whitetail hunter here in Ohio, but
we are anxious to give Muley's a try. We have
an ongoing debate here, in that Whitetail and
Mule deer can cross breed. My friend says that
Whitetails are in fact contributing to Mule deer
decline by taking away habitat and does. I was
hoping you might have an answer to our debate.
thanks!

Very nice site to visit. My brother and I have a trip planned to Wyoming in October. We both have mule deer tags. Our interest has been how to score or know you have a trophy buck in your sights. I am familiar with White tail and how to score them. Is it similiar or is it very different.
The pictures are helpful in this issue, but some rules of thumb would be helpful. Thanks for the response if you could accomodate.

Dear Muley Madness,
Although we enjoyed the splended videos you have posted, and await with great anticipation for the upcomming attractions,we strongly oppose of all game hunting with the acception of the indian style(using everythig whatsoever). We hope that when you recieve this, you will understand our point of view.In conclusion,we have constructed a poetic opinion of our feelings:
Deer
To kill an animal is killing a creation of GOD
Why does it set off so much joy
To shoot at a deer like its a toy
But once you've shot
Its too late
You've already determined thier horrible fate
To kill an animal is killing a creation of GOD

Last season was my first hunting trip, Oct. 2000. I am 29 years old. I am female. I had married one of the best men in the world, at least I think so. He got me interested in hunting and I shot my first Mule Deer last seaon. He was a two point. With one forked horn on the right side. I shot him from about 300 yards. It was great and now I am hooked. We both enjoy just about the same things. A matched made in heaven so to speek.

Last hunting season I had bagged a White-tail deer and he was a spike horn. He weight 110 pounds. I had shot him at 2:15 in the afternoon when I was sitting in my treelounge. Two or three years ago my father had bagged a nice 7 pointer and he weight about 120 pounds.
Great web site!

This is the best site I have ever been to. It has some of the best photos and stories on the net. This site makes me happy to have hunted such an animal, and with a site like this it will live on for ever.

Nice site. I really appreciate the fact that you have an artwork section as I am a wildlife artist. I was rather disappointed when clicking on guides that Canada was not included. We have great mule deer and other big game hunting. Since many Americans come to Alberta to hunt, wouldn't it be a good idea to include Canada in the guide section?

I am enjoying your Mule Deer info, and the pictures. I own a place in Central Oregon, near Bend , Oregon. My sons and I hunt the Mule Deer and we have had some good luck over there. I will send pictures as soon as I get back to the Mountains to get them. Thanks, Dick Valentine
