im a texas boy, 25 years old. been a diehard bowhunter since i got out of the marines 3 years ago. just got my wife a bow last year and she's hooked. just drew my first muley tag in southeast NM. thanks for the help and all the responses to my first 2 posts. hopefully have some pics to post soon.

thanks for the help guys. im used to seein scrawny texas whitetail tracks, so they all look big to me. it has been really wet in NM this year but the tracks were on pretty firm soil. and nothing else in that area was that large.

TRACK SIZE?

BEEN SCOUTING WATERHOLES AND THIS OLD DRY LAKE BED, LOTS OF SIGHN BUT IM NOT REAL SURE WHAT A GOOD BUCKS TRACK WOULD BE. FOUND A FEW REALLY BIG TRACKS. 3 1/2 TO 4 INCHES AND ALMOST 2 1/2 WIDE. ANY HELP ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR?

thanks for the help guys. ive talked to other people who said tracking in the sand is hard work but productive. i hunt whitetails mostly ive done a little blacktail hunting in califonia but this is new. whats a good size muley track? some of these deer go 300 pounds on the hoof. dont want to track a...

just drew my first muley tag in new mexico. its in unit 31. lots of sandhills and some caprock. never hunted this kind of terrain before and just lookin for a little advice. what kind of food sources out there, should i be focusing on water? they've had a really wet summer and ive seen lots of sighn...
