Re: Javelina hunt

Congrats on your successful hunt. Send some of your luck this way if you can spare any. I got the same hunt coming up here pretty soon.

Re: learning to hunt.

I guess I'll cover the after kill process. I learned just by doin' it so I'm sure somebody will have an alternative to my method but here we go anyway. After the shot you need to evaluate where you think you hit. This will determine how long you should wait until you go to recover your game. If you ...

I hope when I have kids they are at least half as clever as these rugrats. Pretty slick.

Re: What did yall get?

Got a Bushnell Backtrack. Maybe I'll stay a little more on course with it. I tend to end up a few hundred yards away from where I intended to be.

Re: Who shoots during winter

Year round here. I've only touched snow twice in my whole twenty five years of livin' and I had to drive a few hours to get to it. No snow here in the valley though.

Re: I love Mulies but I hate Cactus!!

Arizona acupuncture buddy. Welcome to my world. Everything out here either sticks, stabs, pokes, stings, or bites ya and you usually end up with a little poison left in ya from whatever got a hold of you. It can be a bit of a pain but I'm pretty much used to it by now. Sounds like you had a good lea...

Arizona mule deer usually rut later in the year and into the next. Mostly mid to late December into January.

Re: MuleyMadness Roll Call

Born and raised in Arizona on a small ranch. I just love to hunt. I'm pretty much a solo hunter and prefer archery over rifle. I'm only 25 and still have a lot to learn. I'm getting married next year, hopefully by July so I can start tryin' to produce a little hunter.
