I've heard of a lot of hunters cancelling their CO trips because of the new firearm legislation. I know some people who have. I put in this year for a preference point. My plan is to go next year. Hopefully they'll have repealed the legislation by then. Then maybe I won't feel so guilty about going....

When you apply for the draw online. There will be an option you can choose to either apply for a left-over tag or a refund in the event that you don't get drawn. If you chose refund when you applied then you should get your money back sometime in June.
