Re: I'm back!
Welcome back!
Things should pick up come around Aug or Sept, hopefully. A lot of the regulars no longer post unfortunately.

Re: Best method
I prefer spot and stalk myself. Once you get out there you'll figure things out. Even though I hate to sit and watch I'll do that now and then and have taken a few deer over the years that way.

Re: Colorado Draw 2017
I won't get deer unless it will be my second choice on private land where I live but I should draw my elk tag.

Re: LF PR20
I've never gotten into the AR phase, probably due to shooting so many M16/M4's while in the military. That being said, I like what you have there and in the right caliber to boot. Very nice tripod, too!

Re: Back from the hunt(s)
We ended up with 100 lbs of sausage, 75 lbs of hot Italian and 25 lbs of breakfast, mixed 60/40 with pork. Even managed to save the backstrap and tender loins. I have to say the hot Italian turned out fantastic, yet to cook up any of the breakfast.

Congrats on a successful hunt all around! And tell your brother there is no shame in getting that meat buck. My grandson got a really nice meat buck that we turned into 100 lbs of sausage.
