I was after a decent buck (170" range) all week but never was able to get a good arrow at him. I saw one hog of a buck that would net in the 190's, but I only saw him once. I wasn't going to arrow this one but the last hour and less than 20 yards......well you know.

Yeah, I hunt A LOT! I'm usually out scouting or hunting on my days off. I work a 10 hour shift so I get 3 days off a week. I only bowhunt, so my season lasts as long as 5 months. You're bound to get lucky once in a while in 5 months.

Here's two blacktail bucks I arrowed this November. Not monsters, but both will make the book. The second buck (3x3) was taken when my 8 year old son was stalking at my side. Talk about exciting. Here's a muley I arrowed this year in southern Utah. I had passed him during the beginning of the hunt. When he presented himself during the last hour of my hunt, I decided to take him.
