Pepper dog is a hard core shed head,she also retrieves elk legs,deer legs,chunks of hide ect,anything that smells like deer and elk,she located the match to my elk set for me.

Judging by my experience with our local bios,most of them have a general anti hunter agenda,do whatever they can to eliminate the hunter from the picture,getting into it with the hunter in mind is a great plan but you may find its not at all about the hunter.

Every web forum has mods that delete posts they dont agree with,these liberal antihunters arnt going to let you defend our right to hunt or explain the idiotic wolf reintroduction program in any light that doesnt reinforce thier agenda.

I have seen some great trophys escape because the hunter wasnt mentally prepared to chamber a round quick enough,I keep the rifle shouldered pointing straight up,if anything were to happen it is always pointed in a safe direction.

My long range rigs are already heavy enough the pod weight doesnt factor,99% of the shots I take are taken prone or sitting,nothing is more solid/accurate than a prone shot off a pod.

Without a chambered round you greatly increase the time it takes to get on target and make what could be a one time shot opportunity,not to mention the sound you make while doing it.I chambed a round the second I leave a vehicle,its very rare that I hunt an area not populated by grizz,that in itself...
