Nice Idaho Moose

I took a few pictures of this bull while scouting for elk the other day. What do you guys think? Would you shoot him? What do you think he scores?

Absolutely I'd shoot him, not good at scoring moose. But big enough. Cool pics, where ya been? :)

Definitely a shooter for sure. I used to run into a lot of moose when I would deer hunt in Bone, ID just above Idaho Falls. I never saw a bull that big though!

Lots of moose popping up on forums this year, and lots of guesses on scores =D>
It makes you realize just how flawed the B&C moose scoring system can be.

There's been guesses on this bull all the way from 140" to 165"

His weak fronts and narrow rack are the causes for the low guesses.

But the bull really wouldnt score any better if he had large fronts, as long as there is a split on the brow the measurement for palm length is there.
If the bull was 5" wider and had 4 points on each front, he'd only score about 9" more than he does now.

I'm still saying he's a solid 155" bull!
The only way I'd pass him up is if I knew where a better one was!
Hopefully someone tags him and tapes him out, moose can be hard to judge on the hoof!
