2012 Mountain Goat

Post by Torch » Thu Oct 18, 2012 2:50 pm

I shot this goat a couple of weeks ago and johnyutah5 asked if I had posted a picture on another thread, so I decided to post it up.

That is one of a few critters I'd like to get after someday. Beautiful billy you got there!

Awesome looking goat.

Congrats.

I'm building my points for these now and hope that it doesn't take wenty years to pull a tag.

Nice goat. Hope you had a great hunt. I'm at thirteen points for goat and hope to draw before too many years pass.

Great stuff Torch, thanks for posting him up. Don't know anything about goat hunting, but sure looks cool/fun.

Thanks guys, I had a blast. I got lucky and drew out with 8 points even though I applied for the nanny tag. I showed up 4 days early to do more scouting, so the hunt was short but sweet. I had a couple good friends help out on the hunt and I can't thank them enough. Here are a few more pics.

Just looking at those pics makes my back and legs hurt. I also know how rewarding having something in your pack is while enduring the pain. Makes it more than worth it. Congrats again.
