Big CA Bear (pic)

Post by BOHNTR » Fri Oct 21, 2011 2:41 pm

Had to post a photo of my hunting partner's bear he arrowed this morning in the Southern California mountains. This is a HUGE beast of a boar that should easily make the record book. Congratulations to Brad!

What a monster. I'd be scared to death to stick an arrow in something that size. If he figured out where it came from he would get the last laugh.

Holy cow! That's a huge bear! I'd be a little afraid to be anywhere near that thing... especially walking up to it to make sure it was down haha.

Wow, congrats, that thing is huge.
That would be such a rush to draw on a creature like that, but I make it a point not to hunt any animal that could turn the tables and hunt me in return.

Great bear. Cal has a lot of big bruins if you look in the right places. Great trophy and will make a nice rug with all that great hair.------------SS

No skull measurement yet......waiting 60 days before I measure. Not sure on the square foot of him.......just know he was was right at the 400 lb mark.

Yup, that is the Invasion.
