Hard to beat hunting pheasant with snow on the ground!

I've never eaten snowshoes, how do they compare to cotton tails?

I've eaten snowshoes but a lot of years ago. Think it depends on what they eat. The one's in Montatn were really good but the one's in Alaska were awful.

Nice bunch of birds!

Nice bunch of roosters. I assume you got those in North Dakota? The only place around here to get that many pheasants is at the hunting farms. Public lands is a crap shoot anymore in Utah.

Nope South dakota! it pays off to ask around and ask farmers if you can hunt there land! most where i hunt were glad to get rid of them.
