Avatar help - Image under username

Post by MuleyMadness » Thu Jun 22, 2006 3:28 pm

Have had several inquiries as to the images under your registered username...as far as "how do I do that or upload my own image"

It's quite simple actually, just click on the User Control Panel button at the top of the forum page. Then select the "Profile" tab, and click on Edit Avatar.

The images are called "avatars" and you can upload your own. The max size is 100x100 pixels.

As far as the spike Image or deer image below your name... it will grow and get bigger with the more you post to the forums.

Hope this helps.

Here is an example of my "Avatar" image...

Just post three more times and it will show up.

Went to select Avitars at bottom of profile page and can't get anything to come up. Is the site down or am I doing something wrong?

"there is no site" per say, we don't have a set of avatars to choose from.

You just upload your own from your computer. Make sense?

I need help from someone smarter than me. My problem is that I can't get the file size lower than 9 kb. I have lower the pixels to even 1x1 and it still stays higher than 9 kb. Please help!

It's a bit tough to explain in a post or email, but if you want to email it to me I'll do it for you and send it back?
