One last Oregon mulie hunt?

Post by pram-z » Thu Mar 10, 2011 7:04 pm

It may come as somewhat of a surprise to most, but Oregon mulies ain't what they used to be, and I have 5 points to blow before I turn into a fulltime Blacktail guy I guess. I'm not going to waste my time on Oregon mulies anymore. So with one last hurrah, does anyone have a good suggestion on where to go?. I'm thinking Silvies, maybe Northern part of Whitehorse, i'm just not sure, any thoughts would be helpful. ](*,)

i'll give you my opinion, but not on any open forum. ( your right, oregon muleys are in the tank, no need to give the ares that aren't a shot of fame)
i gotta leave right now, but will send a p.m. in a couple hrs.

I am in the same boat Pram-Z sitting on 4 or 5 points and stuck between just throwing them out instead of wasting a season on them and drawing one last time and being done.

I've got 4 or 5 points myself, and I wish I could give them to you guys. All the zones I like right now don't take that many though. -------SS

Really? Whats going on? Bad managment, loss of habitat, or harsh winters....maybe a combination?

springville: your right. the deer hunting is at a really bad state :>/ - BUT a guy can still kill what most guys consider a decent buck, year after year.

huntfishnv: HORRIBLE managment! a bazillion tags, no hunting lions with dogs ( thanks to all the (*&^% tree huggers) a bad winter or 2, and over hunting.

PRAM-z and HUNTINGDAD- i do have some info for you, i will get a p.m. out- just might be a day or so. work has been LONG!
