South Cache LE November Elk hunt

Post by ddrysdale » Tue May 31, 2011 5:21 pm

Hello all. I was just informed that I am the sucessful owner of a LE elk permit for the late elk hunt in the south Cache unit. After 12 years of trying it finally worked out. I was hoping to get some info on were to start with some research and if anybody has any info on were the elk like to hang out during that time of year. I know alot of it will depend on the weather.

Congrats, The south cache is a good hunt. I live up here in Logan so a lot of my hunting I do on the south cache. There are a lot of good bulls in a lot of different spots up there.

I had a friend of mine draw last year for the archery hunt. Another friend has drawn the archery tag this year.

If you can get in some scouting and look at some topos I am sure you can fin some elk. There are a lot to be found. Also I could get you some ideas as it gets closer. I am sworn to some secrecy until after the archery hunt.
