AWESOME 2012 bow hunt, For the wife and kids

Post by Goofy Elk » Sun Jan 13, 2013 9:33 am

Had a great archery antelope hunt this year. My wife and oldest boy drew tags.

The boy was 14 at the time ( recently turned 15 ) , first year eligible for a LE tag, and drew.
First bow kill, SUPER nice lope!

My wife has taken elk, deer , and antelope with her rifle. BUT this was her first archery harvest,
And the funnest , best hunt ever! All of us, even the youngest boy watched her arrow it!

Looks like a total blast. That 4 pronghorn down looks HUGE. Thanks for sharing, someday I'll hunt that exact area hopefully.

Sweet. I'm putting in for that tag this year. It's an awesome hunt and there are getting to be some toads running around in there.

So unique seeing a goat in the pines (compared to what I'm used to I guess) that's really cool.
