Post by huntin aint easy » Wed Feb 18, 2009 12:21 pm

Last year i practiced with feild tips until it got near the hunt, then i shot some broadheads. When i shot the broadheads the arrow went toatally different spots every time!! so what should i do, shoot broadheads as well as feild tips?? ](*,)

Go with these: http://oddiction.com/shop/index.php?cPath=21_364_87_141 Then there is no changes to worry about. 10sign:

I haven't had to do any adjusting with Rage broadheads either. Other than that you just have to sight in your bow for broadheads when it comes time to hunt as far as I know.

I've never had to adjust with Wac-Ems or Rocket Steelheads. Also check out the Reign, I'm shooting them this year, they claim no change out to 80 yards. http://www.ephunting.com

If your arrows went to a different spot each time you may have some form or tuning problems to deal with. Even if broadheads shoot differently than my field tips they usually group. Find someone with some experience to watch you shoot.

Did you mention what heads you used? I didn't see it. I like Muzzy and Wasp broadheads. They seem to go where my field tips go. Goofy heads will cause the problems you're having.
