Best method

Post by donut slayer » Sat Mar 25, 2017 12:37 pm

I'm hoping to be hunting unit 58 and 581 in colorado this oct/nov. This will be my first mule deer hunt. What would be the best, most productive method on hunting? Get high and glass, stalk, find where their feeding and sit and wait? I'll be hunting public land. Thanks, Rudy.

I prefer spot and stalk myself. Once you get out there you'll figure things out. Even though I hate to sit and watch I'll do that now and then and have taken a few deer over the years that way.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.

I too prefer spot and stalk. But from day break I like to sit over looking a trail for maybe an hour before I start spot and stalk.
