Posted my story in this forum. Had a lot of fun and 50% success for my group... beat the heck out of the State average for general units!
Is the story of your hunt & pics up here somewhere?

Yup, just went back and found it. If I ever draw an elk tag and decide start putting for deer it'll be either the Book Cliffs or Vernon for me (muzzleloader style of course).
I'm not too broken hearted about how it all worked out for me. I guess there's something to be said for working my tail off and being ok with the outcome. I've gotten a head start on next year, placed a couple of cameras on our property & will see what I get over the winter.

i dindt see a buck the whole muzzy hunt. The area i usually hunt had a fire last year and must have pushed everything out of the area. Did see some good bulls though and found an elk shed as well. =]
