Seen legit 200" buck?

Post by MuleyMadness » Wed Mar 30, 2011 9:43 pm

Alright clearly I'm a bit bored in the off season, my question is how many of you have seen a legit 200" buck. And better yet, have video, photos, or harvest proof. I'd like to see and know if you have. We all here the stories of monsters, lets separate fact from fiction and see them.

YES I've been fortunate enough to see several (not boasting at all), just really been lucky and enjoy trying to find them and get some 'proof'. All in fun.

I'll start...

Does he break the magical 200" mark to you? Yes he was harvested and I have a score.

Any guesses??

What say ye and lets see yours.

Guess i will put my reputation on the line and say that buck will not hit the 200in mark. Close but no cigar.

Does he have an inline on the passenger side that is hidden? If so, that might put him over the top

I'm going to say Yes that he is. He has great forks, front and back. Mass looks good and I'd say he is at least a 180' main frame. I'm thinking 187'. It also looks like he has an 8' inline off of the G-2 and about 4' in kickers on the right. Now add in the nice eye guards at at least another 8' and that puts him over.

No doubt i would shoot him in a second, but no. I don't think he is 200". Id guess around 195-198. He just doesn't have much of a spread, mass is ok, forks are excellent!! Liking the kickers too!

He's probably close to 200". I can't say I've seen one for sure but a few were close. I know I've seen several over 190.

I can say that I have only seen 3 bucks on the hoof that would go 200. Keep in mind, I only hunt general season and easy to draw units. I was able to get one of them on my wall though. :)

Here's one I know is over 200" I photographed and hunted when I drew my AZ archery Strip tag a few years back:
