I'm way excited and I don't even have a tag. My buddy at work has a Henry's tag and I will be heading out at the first of next week to go help him.

Time is dragging for me I can't imagine how it is for him.

I can't wait. I have a Limited Entry Elk tag and a General Season Deer tag in the same area at the same time. This is going to be an awesome hunt.

VA starts ML season in 36 days. I can't wait. Hope these 90 degree days turn to 40 pretty soon though.

Starts this Wed !!

But this week we will be having record temps for this time of year . 89 +/- . The Elk hunt will be the end of October to the first week of November 10sign: Then next year deer /elk will be in the first week of October for 8 days for both ](*,) Hunted deer for years when i lived in california in july . what a joke .

The older i get the more i hate hunting in the heat !! :-k :>/

I am getting really excited but this heat is really killing me. I was hoping it wouldn't storm on us while hiking in on Tues. Now it's looking like I'll be hiking in with shorts and a t shirt. lol I've been used to hunting in snow the last few years but there's no sign of it getting even close to freezing this year.
