It looks like the shadows cast on the body from the branch are consistent but is the right front leg in the same viewing line as the back (left) leg? Weird....

His right leg is there, it is just lined up perfect with his left leg. If you click on the pic you can in-large it and then you can see the right leg and the paw flipped up. As for the color??? the temp. my have something to do with it.

After checking a previous post, and having a better look at the photo, then asking on of the computer guys here, It is my belief that you are looking at Photo Shopped picture. ($$)

looks to me like a "multiple-exposure". Wonder if this was a digital camera or a 35 mm trailcam?

When you click on the picture and enlarge it, it appears that the color difference follows the line of the tree trunk behind the wolf and the stump behind the wolf's head appears to change the color there as well. I wonder if this was two photos on top of eachother (one with the wolf and one without) but from the same camera location and the same angle and everything? Wouldn't that explain why the wolf appears sort of transparent and almost ghostly? Or somebody could have photo chopped it. I am no expert photo chopper, but I think it would be harder to photoshop something to look like the dog was transparent than it would have been to photochop a much more realistic photo. If it is a chop I think they went to a lot of trouble to make it look like it does...That is my un-professional diagnosis. Multiple exposures on the same frame.

if you look at his head you can see the rock in the background through it as well
