Star Valley Wy... MONSTER
These pictures were taken by a good friend of mine one week ago. WOW..... 2 miles from my house! Any guesses on height, width and gross score? Hope you all enjoy! (gotta love Wyoming).

Great pictures! I really love how different the deer are from each other. Are those Utah bucks?

Hi Sagehunter, I live in Wyoming too but close to Jackson Hole. I am not familiar with the areas you have mentioned so I can offer no help. If you ever hunt out here in the western part of the state I would be happy to point you in the right direction. Nevertheless, welcome to the forum and congrats...

Post your 2009 Muley here
Hi all, I didn't see a thread for our 2009 success pictures so I decided to start this one. On Friday the Lord blessed me with this nice 4 point buck. I backpacked in the night before and only saw 10 does and fawns and I was starting to think my area had been hit hard during the first week. I pushed...

Re: Mulie Porn
Here are a few that I've been lucky enough to harvest. I hope that the Book Cliffs provide me with another one this year. What's my secret ? I've hunted for many years. I get away from the crowds (that doesn't always mean hiking miles away), lots of glassing, and patience (don't shoot the first buc...

Re: Packing out a deer?
You all have great advice, thanks for sharing. Last, year my wife and I shot a deer at 9500 ft and in a deep and nasty hole. It took about 6.5 hours to hump that thing out. We didn't bone it ( which is in the game plan this year) and I took the head with the cape. It was nice to have my wife their t...

Re: Wyoming TAXIDERMIST
I know that it is a bit of a drive but I live in Star Valley, Wy and had a deer mount done in Swan Valley, ID by Jake's Midnight Taxidermy and it is incredible! They have been around a long time and their work is worth the extra drive up! I wouldn't go any pace else from now on.... the finished prod...

Re: best sage/creosote country camo?
I really like Kings mountain shadow. I found that it really covers all of the open and semi timber areas we have here in western Wyoming.
