Great looking bird. Congrats!!! In your part of KS are the birds all eastern or rio or crosses? It seems where I hunt they are mostly crosses.

No, The two that I got in KS were with my bow. The two that I got in MO were with my shotgun. You can just see the barrel of it in the self timed pic. Alot more hunters in MO so whenever I try to set up in my blind and archery hunt someone seems to want to sneek in on the decoys.

Ended my turkey season here in MO with two more longbeards. Four tags and four turkeys. I know what's for dinner!!!

I think that the man upstairs was looking after you and the misses Mark. Glad that nothing bad came out of it. Skin doesn't grow back as quick when you get to be our age.

I have never applied for Kentucky but I would like to say a big thanks to KY for its part in the elk restoration in MO. I hear that they have already trapped about 50 of the 150 that they are going to send to us. I hope some day in the future to hold in my hands a MO elk tag thanks in no small part ...
