Bear Mountain in Sanpete? Need info please.
Hi All, My cousin drew out for elk on the Bear Mountain CWMU in Sanpete. He was having someone help him put in online and he clicked the wrong thing. He meant to put in somewhere else, but ended up putting in for Bear Mountain. He's is of course excited as can be, BUT. We really don't know anything ...

Re: Spotting Scope/Binos
Great free program for manipulating images.

Question is a tough one for me. I just use the bino's to see if there's an animal and ALWAYS the scope comes out. Neither of mine are great though.

Re: Deer Hunting the Henry Mountains – Utah
I bet this is one of the few time that you can't wait for Monday to get here. I know that it killed me the whole time that my antelope was off getting done. That's another reason that I wanted to learn how to do taxidermy. One so that I wouldn't have to wait so long and two they never have to leave...

Re: Why so down on general hunts?
It's fun to spend the time with friends, but it's crowded for sure. You scout out a couple options and find people sitting on the face your watching. Or sitting in the saddle you watched nice deer feed over. Just so many hunters out there. But I wouldn't want to limit the number of tags either. Ever...

Re: spot+ stalk or sit+wait.
Glass, glass, glass - Spot and stalk deer. Unless I scout a bunch and know exactly where they will be headed. Pretty much the same for Elk. Good thread.

Re: Deer Hunting the Henry Mountains – Utah
Yeah I have had a couple of people upset with me that I drew with nine points and they had fifteen and didn't draw. I'm big enough though that they don't try to get physical with me. My brothers friend drew a few years ago with just his application and no points. There's nothing wrong with a little...

Re: Deer Hunting the Henry Mountains – Utah
I was not talking about you, just some of the camps down there. I did actually witness during the first cow buffalo hunt, 17 people on horse back pushing little canyons for one tag. I was amazed that many people were there. The craziest thing about that mountain was the number of elk hunters. I hav...
