Re: Getting frustrated

I had a perfect stalk on a huge 4x4 on Sunday morning and blew the shot, watched the arrow fly right over his back. I cant tell you how many stalks i blew before that one and even when you do get to the point of shooting nothing is gauranteed. It's all in the fun of trying diffrent teqniques(sp) Don...

Re: Wyoming unit 25 blm

Yeah it's Bull****, but what do you do. Its a pretty good deal if your a rancher who guides hunters and you have additional acres to hunt that belong to us but we cant access.

Re: Wyoming unit 25 blm

I talked to the reginal blm office and they told me the area i was looking at is 17000 acres of blm but no public access so that really sucks. It is called the "sand hills special management area" too bad it's all landlocked by private. I did look at those gps maps but unfortunatly my gps is not com...

Re: Wyoming unit 25 blm

Thanks, there seems to be a fair amount of blm land. I'm just not sure if it is all landlocked. Maybe i will try calling the reginal office and see if they can tell me anything. Any more help is appreciated.

Re: Federal Fusions for Muley's 7mm-08 140's

My son used them in his 7x57 on a 190" buck last year and dropped him in his tracks at 215 yards right through the shoulder. I believe the 7x57 is pretty close to the 7mm-08, if that helps.

Re: WY Antelope - units 47 & 48

I too have been looking all over for info on unit 48, but there doesn't seem to be much out there. Seems to be checkerboard land and alot of private, i will be going out in October to see what i can find. looks like the northern part of the unit has the best access, so i may head that direction. I w...
