Congrats, looks like a good time!
It appears you had better luck than me for the 2nd season deer hunt.

Gotta love those bucks in town!

I take it those bulls came off the reservation since they tags aren't the same at the ones issued by the DOW?

Re: Big Bull Made it Though 1st Season

You weren't the only one in SW Colorado that didn't find the Big Boy they were after! There was a bull in the 330-340" range that I was looking for that disappeared like the wind......heck I think most of the elk disappeared like the wind in the area.

Stoic Somnus 30 Sleeping Bag

Up for grabs is a like new Stoic Somnus 30 sleeping bag. I'm usually leery when it comes to buying a used sleeping bag, because all I can think about is some sweaty guy sleeping and farting in it all night. However, this is not the case with this one. I've only been in the bag twice, on two separate...

Re: WTB 4.5-14x50 or 6.5-20x50 Long Range

I ended up with a VX3 4.5-14x50 with the B&C reticle for the time being. I'll see how I like it, but if a Vari-X III 4.5-14x50 LR (with turrets) comes up, I might be willing to trade.

Re: Remington Sendero

It really depends on what kind of conditions you are shooting, and what you plan to use the rifle for. I put a VX3 4.5-14x50 LR on my 264 for medium to long range, and have a Vari-X III 8.5-24x50 LR on my 7mmSTW for longer range shots. It started out as a Sendero, but has had some work done to it in...

Re: Remington Sendero

I just bought a practically new one in 264 Win Mag that I will be taking with me on my eastern Oregon mulie hunt this year. I haven't had time develop a load for it yet, so I can't speak for the true accuracy potential. I am just going to use the box of Nosler Custom ammo the guy threw in with the d...
