NOTE: For any Leupolds, I'm looking for VariX III, VXIII, or VX3 style....not the Mk 4 style

WTB 4.5-14x50 or 6.5-20x50 Long Range

I'm looking for a scope to put on my 264. I have Leupolds on all of my rifles, but am also considering Vortex. I want 50mm obj, and 30mm tube. Reticle isn't a big deal. If it is target dot, duplex etc., I want target knobs. I've never used the B&C or BDC reticles, but if the scope has that, target k...

There are fires popping up all over the place. I will say this however...a couple of weeks I took my rock crawler up La Plata Canyon around 11...

It is a misdemeanor crime and has to be in the presence of a law enforcement official, i.e. the game war...

Re: Colorado Muzzy Hunters

You are correct, sabots are not allowed in Colorado during muzzle loader season. The same goes for pelletized powder, and scopes. If you were to use a muzzle loader during a rifle season, you could use sabots, a scope, and pelletized powder.

I shoot an Austin & Halleck, but they went out of business. Beautiful guns though.

Re: Favorite .300 WSM Load

It was just part of the process of me decreasing my powder charge. First I tried the CCI with the 63gr, but still had signs of pressure. So I worked my way down in the powder department until I didn't see excessive pressure. Then I tried various primers until I got decent velocity and tight groups, ...
