Re: All still packin

Bonehead,

I've seen a small bull moose a few times up near Old Folks Flat. No idea where you'd find him this time of year. He's not a bruiser, but would be cool to have just the same.

Re: All still packin

Derek, I've wondered that myself. It's been a very mild winter here (not complaining at all), and the little bucks are dropping, but the bigger boys are still packing. Not two minutes later the neighbors two dogs come running. In fact I thought my friend was dog food. lol So we move to a different spot ...

Re: Shed Hunting Time?

Talked to a CO here in Utah yesterday, and he said the majority are still packing. He also said they are going to be stepping up patrols around critical wintering areas and checking for the permits. Just a heads up for everyone. It's hard to wait, but I think we owe it to everyone that hunts and the...

Re: Shed Hunting Time?

I took a drive last weekend, and saw a buck that had dropped one side already. I thought it was a little early, usually February seems to be the norm around here.

Re: Best use of Tax Payer money?

No need to get upset about it. I'm just throwing ideas out there. I'm not saying I think a bounty is the best way or a even a good way. I'm only trying to get people to think about the situation and maybe come up with a better way of doing things. Just a conversation.

Re: Rumor or Fact?

I've heard about the sightings in the Cache areas, but I was wondering about the middle of the state.
