Does anyone know where to find a good land ownership map of this unit or someone who may be able to answer some general questions about the unit? Such as land status, access to public lands, access to private lands, maybe a wildlife manager name, and just how things work in general. I live in AZ and...

Re: MuleyMadness Roll Call
I live in the White mountains of AZ and with my wife and kids, we hunt avidly and pursue time spent in the outdoors a lot. I have hunted a couple of DIY hunts in WY for muleys and Elk in NM as well as a ton of time chasing Coues, Javalina, speedgoats, muleys, and elk in AZ. I archery hunt as well as...

Re: Kids and hunting?
Awesome pics!!! If she doesn't draw the Mule deer in Az. There are usually leftover Coues tags. My kids are having a great year so far as they both killed AZ gobblers on their junior hunt. Both were big birds with beards over 9". My son also scored his first bull elk tag and he is stoked.

Vortex Scope Software
Has any one used the LRBC program that vortex has for their scopes? I am going to try the trajectory validation but have not got there yet. Any comments or suggestions?

Re: Nosler Accubond Bullets: Field Tested
I love the accubonds!! Super accurate and I have had great terminal performance with them. In fact, my daughter shot a 6x6 bull twice in the chest with a 270 130 and he dropped at the 2nd shot. Both went completely through the elk. I guess no bullet is perfect but they have work well for us. .5"moa ...

Re: Is a Utah cougar harvest objective tag worth a try?
It is very possible but you either need to be very lucky or spend a lot of time out. I am not sure how utahs season works but I have killed 3 in AZ without dogs and that number would be 5 if I shot better.

Late hunts can be tough. Not saying you cant find a big one though. Depends on how big of bull you are hoping for???

Re: Willaims, AZ
I killed a 372 5/8" in unit 10 last year with a broken sword. DIY no guide but lots of scouting and I live in AZ which helps. Any of the AZ units can be a good hunt. Tough hunt but a good hunt.
