Calling Bears?
I'm going to go for my first bear this year and since we can't bait or use any scents or attractants, I was going to either do a spot and stalk or sit and call for a little while. Do you guys have any recommendations on calls or even calling for that matter. Or would I be better off spot and stalk. Thanks for the help

Re: Calling Bears?
I have done both myself. I use a open reed primos little dog howler and use rabbit crys. Ive brought in cougars bears and yotes. Works well to find a bear and then move in closer and set up for calling. They dont just run in like a dog, they tend to wander close around the call. Keep your eyes open behind you. Hope that helps good luck
