Nebo turkey hunt help (UPDATED)

Post by ridgetop » Sat Feb 14, 2009 10:20 am

drew a Nebo A tag last week at the expo. I really don't have the time to take the 2 hour drive to scout before the hunt. If anyone can help me with this hunt, I can share info. on some good deer and elk areas. Please PM me if you can help. Thanks, Koby

Sorry, I don't know that unit very well. Good luck with your hunt! It should be a great time no matter if you get your bird or not!

Have fun,

Dustin

Went scouting last night and stayed over to look a little more this morning. Found a few birds but now I'm wondering if I'll be needing my snow camo. (???) First time I've ever seen turkeys strutting too. It was awesome.

with the weather that we are saposibly have this next week that lower snow will be gone in a few days. It melted a ton this afternoon.

I have a friend that has been spoting it pretty heavy for his Dads tag. He has a hand full of really mature birds scouted out, in fact he has one that he has been wathching that he swears has a 10" beard. Hope they can put the smack down on that one.

good luck to you Ridge.
