Dads' first ever kill with Bow.

Post by northern » Sat Sep 19, 2009 11:47 am

We bought this dark horse blind the day before the Opening day of archery here in Montana. We went out the evening of the opening day and set it up, and crawled in. He took this buck at 27 yards, The buck didn't even know what happened. It went 50 yards before toppling over. I thought that I would share with ya all. Its not huge. But its his first, and I'm very proud of him.

Thanx for all the replys. He is very anxious to try for a doe. We have been focused on elk lately, he had a cow at 20 yards, but he's holding out for a bull. Time will tell if it happens.
