Back from the Baha

Post by Larry » Mon Jul 06, 2009 6:20 am

We had a great trip, Fishing was really pretty good with lots of school dorado and a few schools of football tuna.

My best was this rooster fish I caught on my spinging reel with 20 lb test. After an hour and 48 minutes it was in the boat, a couple of pic's and it was back in the water.

estamated weight was 70 lbs.

Looks like you caught some great fish on very light tackle. 1 hour 48 minutes, whew I would be plum worn out fighting a big fish for that long. That water is blue....Looks like a fun time. :thumb

I would love to get back down there some day, thanks for the pics!

And those football tuna are some of the best eating fish I've ever had. Fun to catch to except when you are after marlin...lol
