SD buck at 3 yrds!

Shot this buck at three yards bedded behind a cutbank. The adrenaline was pumpin! got it all on video to make it even better!

It almost did become a rodeo after the shot he turned at us before he realized we were there! Made me jump a little! The only video I have is from the gopro mounted to my bow I can post it if I can figure out how. The video camera video with the good video is on my buddies camera who goes to school across the state :/

Nice buck there. What is going on with the die off back there? I heard it happening in both East and West River zones.

EHD hit mostly east river. The county I was in west river also got hit really hard. The muley population is still looking good but the. Whitetails are struggling. We found 3 Pope and young whitetails we have passed many times to let grow up dead from EHD. Its definately tough to see. Also the drought is not helping
