Wolves have their place in the national parks and the wilderness up north where people do not control herd numbers like they do in the lower 48. Keep the wolves there and I have no problem with them. It can be really tough calling elk for yourself. I agree it works well to have someone behind you calling so the bulls come closer. I have had some sucess doing this alone though. If you have a decoy that you can put behind that is somewhat concealed then muffle your call with your hands of turn you...

Tommy I have to agree with MT Backcountry. I have hunted the high desert back home a lot for mule deer and we have very high #s of cats around. I have never personally shot the .204 but used a buddies 22-250 quite a bit in the desert in Arizona. It was just a remington 700 bdl no heavy barrel stuff but that thing was surgical! From looking at the charts there are very few differences but I do beleive that wind would be a factor with the .20...
