Tartget's
Don't know where most people get their's but I've made my own for a lot of yer's. Piece of 8 1/2x11 paper, pencil, ruler and black marker for the aim point then to a copy machine to make a bunch of copy's. Last year, 2017, I found a place on the Mossberg site where they have target's you can print o...

Re: Best method
I too prefer spot and stalk. But from day break I like to sit over looking a trail for maybe an hour before I start spot and stalk.

Re: Join us for some fun shooting
I have a rifle that just might do it. Unfortunate I don't think it's in me! Farthest I've shot was 500yds just over 1/2 min group from a bench. Probably not enough highth in my turrets nor enough ability in me! :-)

I've always loved bird hunting. Some years ago though my left knee lost the cartilage and walking became very hard. Got the thing replaced in Sept 2015 and it's a whole lot better but I doubt I'll ever hunt a chukar hill again! Started getting back to forest grouse but they aren't around here like t...

Re: Favorite Rifle?
For many uears my favorite was a Rem 660 in 308 w/2 3/4x Redfield scope. Then about 15 yrs ago I shuffeled through my rifle's using a couple different ones. Rem 700 in 25-06, Rem 700 in 6.5x06. The 660 ended up at my son's house, no idea how that happened. But several years ago I got a new Mod 70 Ft...

Portable shooting bench
Took this photo of the rifle but enough bench to give an idea about it. Somewhere I have photo's of the bench set up and closed up. The top is made from a sheet of 1 1/8 car decking (plywood). Under the top are three hardwood pads, glued and screwed to the underside of the table to hold the legs. th...
