Re: Badlands 2200
The 2200 is a great pack, and will do all it claims to. It's a bit on the heavy side for me, but that's because I have bad knees, shoulders and a bad back... I'm opting for the lightweight packs these days, and using the youngun's to do most of the meat packin'

Re: Kamas muzzeloader tag?
Well it's the closest spot with an available general deer tag left. Would it be worth my time buying a tag and trying it out I would probably only have about 2 days to hunt and I live almost 3 hours away from the area. What do you think? No one knows the value of your time better than you, so tough...

Once the weather hit and snow was on the ground, a good number of bucks were take, some real bruisers too. I feel yer pain, had almost the same experience here but there is always next year, as Ridge ...

Re: Scared to go hunting again.
Been a solo hunter most of my life, and have seen/heard some strange stuff. Been scared a couple of times :) but continue to hunt solo when I can, though age has slowed me down some. Posted this little "occurrence" I had in Cali a while back on another forum. Yeah, the hair does stand up in some sit...
