This year things were still slow in MN & WI but we did have some luck...The best part is that my 10 year old grand daughter, Kyra, shot her first deer a nice fat WI whitetail doe... My middle son John picked up a pretty good 10 pointer in WI and My oldest son Jim shot ...

Our winter has given us little snow too which is exactly what the doctor ordered for the sparse whitetail herds left from the past two extreme winters (I believe even the wolves have applied for food stamps). Haven't made any plans yet but definitely will go somewhere....I have four antelope points ...

Way to go Wayne....Nice buck.... We didn't fair so well over here picking up only a handful of two year olds in both MN and WI... The only decent buck was an 5 year old nine point that my son Jim shot with the bow in Wi...We did however have a pretty fun trip to the Bighorns Region R for muleys find...

Hey there SRM, No deer for me not even deer "C" as a second choice....Missed my 1ST choice lope and ended up with A22...new area for me but they all have been great in the past.... Building up points though....I haven't decided on a left over deer yet because the later starting dates won't coincide ...

SS, We have hunted some of the area of these big boys but not all that we would like because even though it is public land there are other groups that traditionally hunt there...I would not care to step on anyone's toes any more than have them step on mine...
