Back to the marsh.
Back to the marsh.
Now that the archery season has wound down it is time to get after the fowl season.
Went out for the afternoon on the opener and finished getting a blind set up.
Then got the decoys set out.
Just in time for the duck weather to roll in.
And the haul for the afternoon.

Re: Back to the marsh.
Nicely done, I don't hunt ducks anymore but man is it fun.
Re: Back to the marsh.
Nice setup you've got there! I love to hunt ducks but don't like to eat them. Hence, I don't hunt ducks.
It ain't the size of the gun but the placement of the bullet.
Re: Back to the marsh.
I'm the same way. Duck can be hard to get them to taste good so I started making them into jerky.
With a little cure and some smoke they are pretty good so now I can keep hunting them.

I just might have to try the jerky route then.
