As much as it pains me I try to leave them alone for at least three week if not four. I want the area to return to normal for awhile with out my sent in there so that I have a beter idea of what is in the are. Also by leaving it for a longer time you can tell what animals are staying in the aera and which one are just passing through.

Yep I go about 3 weeks or so. Batteries usually won't last longer than that for me. Depending on how many pictures I'm getting.

Its just like Christmas!

I want to check them every week to see what I got!

I go everyother weekend & check to see if they are still on the tree and the battery is good.
I learned the hard way.

I left it up there 4 weeks, I found the camera 20 feet from the tree and battery 10 feet from that with the battery cord chewed in half.
(I caught the bandant redhanded on film)
Darn moose like to tease me. I only had pictures of the first 4 nights when he must have came and rubbed it off and decided to take take a bite
