Recent elk pics
A few of my elk pics from the last month.
I had this bull in to about 60 yds on the final morning of archery season. Worked him for about 2 hours before he went back to his cows. He roared/bellered like a cross between a red stag and an angus bull.
All my Tcams are home right now, getting ready to deploy them in Blacktail rutting country.

Re: Recent elk pics
Thanks guys, I can't wait to start getting some pics of ruttin' Blacktails!
I think I need to spend more time hunting this particular herd of elk. A buddy of mine killed a 328" 6x7 not too far from this spot. In fact, you can hear traffic zipping by on the highway where he called in his bull.rezstyle wrote:Looks like a couple of those bulls had a rough rut as I'm seein ribs. Nice pics.
