Canon GL-2

Post by MuleyCrazed » Sat May 26, 2007 7:44 pm

I've been looking as well. The advice I have received so far is that the Canon GL-2 is a great camera. It seems a little expensive but for what you get I understand its a good deal. They run around $1,500 for a good package. Let me know if you hear of any other good deals. Good luck!

The GL-2 is a great camera, but if your looking for a video camera for personal use I would check out the Panasonic PV-GS series. I have the PV-GS300 with the leica lense and 3CCD's. It's small and I can put it in my backpack. I bought a 4x telephoto lense to put on it for close-ups. It's not an HD camcorder, but other than that I have really liked it for the money. I hope that helps a little.

GL-1 is the older version of the GL2 and is a great camera also.
