a rare opportunity!!!

Post by Terdog » Sun Nov 29, 2009 10:24 pm

Thought I would share a photo of a rare Black Mule Deer Doe with
her twins of this year. She has been very elusive and only a few
have had photo ops. I'm pretty fortunate.

I think the proper way to say it is "African American mule deer." Ha ha, thanks for sharing. fatrooster.

Looks like she was messing around with an Elk.

Great shot of oddball nature.

Thanks. :thumb

I think I have seen one before, but it went into the pines before I could get a better look at her. That is really neat. I thought I had seen a bear or an elk, and didn't know a Muley could be black. Now I know for sure thats what I saw! Thanks for sharing!! EXCELLENT!

Nice picture! Wonder if one day "black" mullies will be more common then the "brown" mullies we are used to.....
