Agreed. No need to turn every other thread into a dead horse beating party.

Welcome home Show me, hard to believe it's been 2 years already, but it's good to see you back! EVERYONE gets overly excited at times and EVERYONE makes decisions that they look back on and wish they had done things differently. Thats the beautiful thing about life, it's all about living and learning. It's too bad you werent able to find him, but you did the right thing and kept after him and still havent given up.

Sorry to hear you were unable to find him show me. That is a tough pill to swallow. Sometimes experience teaches us lessons the hard way. Wish I could say that I haven't had a similar experience, but I have and fortunately for me I've not had to learn it again.

i've been there and it sucks. I'd say anyone that says they have a perfect recover history is either lying or they havent been hunting very long. I've also hunted with people that if it dont drop in its tracks they count it as a miss and dont even check but i say good for you it sounds like you did everything possible to try and find him more than most would do. welcome home
